Yeli has worked as a registered dietitian for over 10 years and as a Middle Eastern dance artist for 8 years before embarking on a new entrepreneurship with chocolates. She first fell in love with infused chocolates on a trip overseas that included a stop at a small town in Italy called Genova. In Genova, she visited a small chocolate shop that infused the most amazing flavors into their chocolates. These were not just flavors like mint or cinnamon but exciting flavors like cayenne pepper, cedar, rosemary, coriander and thyme.
After returning from the trip, she began experimenting with chocolate and studying the art and science behind making delicious confections with incredibly infused flavors.
The result of her continued studies is Yelibelly Chocolates!
